From This to This - A Second Look at ATC

I really enjoyed this framelit from the Fun Fall framelit collection. It is such a fun thing to use. I started out with my Artist Trading Card for swaps and I designed it using a regular 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 card.
I used the Chevron border punch, added the decorative dots EF for my background, a strip of DSP and it's done. Hope you like it.

MDS Tuesday




Hello Peeps !!!

Happy Tuesday !!!


Here a card and yet elegant done using MDS. I just love how through MDS you can change the color of the flowers. I picked Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade for my colors.  I used the tulip EF for my background, added the ruffled ribbon on the side and made a bow with the designer brad. Hope you like it.

Simply Simple

Happy Tuesday !!!

I thought that this card turned out cute especially with the addition of the broom from the Tee-Hee-Hee stamp set. I just used the ziz-zag background, added the DSP and framed my main images. I colored with Blendabilities, added a few sparkle and tied the broom with the pumpkin pie cotton ribbon.  Hope you like it.

Consider It Cased

I finally inked this stamp set White Christmas for the first time and I wanted to share it with you. , saw this card on Jan's Blog ( Stamps, Paper, Scissors) and just love how everything looks. I did make a few changes on mine to make it my own, but the layout is pretty much the same. I brayered the background on my main image and added the Lucky Stars EF for my main background.

Retired But Love

I thought I'd share a Fall/Thanksgiving card that I did using this wonderful set. I created the main background using the Work of Art set, stamp my main image in Memento black and colored the pumpkins with Blendabilities. Then I added a few touches- stamping the sentiment in DSP, adding
the scallop border and banners. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors

Happy Thursday !!!

I am playing two challenges this week. One is for the Freshly Made Sketches #155 using this simple and fun layout. The other challenge is using these colors- Basic Gray, Basic Black, Melon Mambo and Whisper White for Challenge #15 ( Always Playing with Paper). I used a DSP and an embossed background adding the strip of ribbon. The tag I used was the scalloped tag punch and used the little leaves sizzlit. For my main image, I used the Morning Meadow stamp set. Hope you like it.

MDS Tuesaday

I am just getting back to working on MDS and I came across this picture that we took when we did our "stacation" in Scottsdale. I created a simple page using the scallop square punch and adding the background papers ( Travel Log). I found these flowers ( Love and Laughter) on MDS and colored them, just a cute way of masking something on top and carried it below the page. Hope you like it.

Simply Simple

I don't know about you but I have seen this little "ghost" thing on Pinterest a lot and I think it's adorable!!! I used the Bundle Fest for my class with its simple layout; embossing both the background and the strips of banner with decorative dots EF. I used the banner from the Age Awareness stamp set and the "HAPPY" for my sentiment. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors

I decided to play these colors from The Paper Players Color Challenge #213 ( Always Artichoke, Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze and Baked Brown Sugar). I used Very Vanilla for my Neutral. I really enjoyed these colors using this particular stamp set. I used a few punches to design my card.

I wanted to share a card that I did for my demo group- a card swap for Fall/Halloween. I decided to do a Fall card using the For All Things stamp set. I love using the woodgrain background and just a touch of DSP. The images were stamped and I added the striped ribbon and linen thread for accents.

MDS Tuesday

I had a little bit of time this morning to play with MDS and thought of using this Greeting Cards stamp brush set. I used the tiny triangles for my background and used the chalk framelit for my main image. I printed my main image and colored with Blendabilities. I used washi tape, buttons and the lace ribbon for my embellishments. Hope you like it.

I saw this beautiful card on Susie's blog ( Stamp with Susie) and I just have to case it. I love how she did the colors and stamp everything in Early Espresso. I did make a few changes on mine- changed my colors and added the strip of striped ribbon in my background to make it my own.
