Simply Simple

Happy Monday !!!
 
Today's card is for Simply Simple week- using the Too Kind stamp set. I just used a basic layout with the DSp behind, stamped the image starting with the Blushing Birde ink and then the Primrose Petals ink. I used the butterflies from the Papillon Potpourri and their corresponding punches.

Ink: Gumball Green, Primrose Petals, Blushing Birde

Happy Sunday !!!

I just wanted to share a birthday gift that I did for a good friend of mine that celebrated her big day this October. The card was done using the For All things stamp set. I love the woodgrain EF and the topnote die for my background. I did a distreesed lookon my main image and added the eyelets around. The mason jar is filled with clear stones and a battery operated light inside. I added the fall leaves around. Hope you like it.

Consider It Cased

I found this beautiful card to case on Michelle's blog ( Stamp, Pray, Love) using the Get Your Santa on stamp set. I made a few changes on mine but the inspiration is there. I reverse the color on mine, added the sentiment below and added the brads.
I used  the glimmer paper for my stars. Hope you like it.

I am sharing a scrapbook page using MDS from our recent class reunion in Vegas. It was definitely a day to remember since we have not seen each other in years. I did a DSP background, slanted the picture and the sentiment. I added the banner designs on top and a few embellishments.

Simply Simple

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I had the best time catching up with HS classmates last weekend. We celebrated our reunion in Vegas  and it was so much fun. I can't believe how so much years had passed and everyone still looks so good. There was good food, dancing, pictures and this silly game we played. I had a blast...
Anyway, today's Simply Simple card is a Christmas card that I did using MDS. I added blind and finished it off with a red ribbon and Merry framelit. Hope you like it.

Consider It Cased

I cased this card from Lisa's blog ( Add Ink and Stamp).  I ended up using it for my class for our masculine card. I just love how she incorporated the feathers and used the Wetland stamp set.  I stamped the main image in Basic Gray ink and the sentiment as well. Hope you like it.

Retired But Love

Here is a card that I did using the Morning Meadow stamp set. It has been retired last year but I still like to use it every now and then. I also used the Oval All stamp which I will not part with.I framed the flowers using squares and embellish with chevron ribbon. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors

I decided to play these colors from Color Throwdown #313 - Pumpkin Pie DSP, Lucky Limeade, Daffodil Delight and Concord Crush. I used Whisper White for my Neutral. I  kinda like how these colors turned out. Hope you like it.

October Birthday

I just wanted to share a birthday gift that I made for my dear friend, Jean. I made the frame using MDS and the card as well. I had fum making the frame using pretty much the stamp brush sayings.

Do you have one of those stamp sets that you can never part with. Well, this is one of the sets that I truly enjoyed using ever since.  I love the easy coloring using the Blendabilities. I kept up with the polka dots design as you can see including on my designer brad. Hope you like it.

Playing with Colors

I am doing 2 challenges today -one is from the Color Throwdown (ctd312) - Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, and Smoky Slate. I used Whisper White for my Neutral. I also used these lovely sketch from The Paper Players #215. I used squares and circle punches and embeelish with glimmer brad and striped ribbon. Hope you like it.

From This to This - A Second Look at ATC

I really enjoyed this framelit from the Fun Fall framelit collection. It is such a fun thing to use. I started out with my Artist Trading Card for swaps and I designed it using a regular 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 card.
I used the Chevron border punch, added the decorative dots EF for my background, a strip of DSP and it's done. Hope you like it.

Here a card and yet elegant done using MDS. I just love how through MDS you can change the color of the flowers. I picked Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade for my colors.  I used the tulip EF for my background, added the ruffled ribbon on the side and made a bow with the designer brad. Hope you like it.
